hello....i'm new to the site.

i had a dream that won't let me be. it's been riding along with me for a few years.

i was in a hi-tech lab....futuristic....i was looking through a microscope. in it was a cell or something. i zoomed into the cell and saw it's make-up. the cell walls, membranes.....i zoomed in and in and in until i saw the atoms.

i focused the lens and got a good picture and suddenly realized that it was outerspace i was looking at. all these atoms were solar systems and galaxies. i zoomed in more and more until i saw planets. i zoomed in further and focused more and saw earth. i zoomed in more and more until i landed on top of myself. i was looking down on myself looking down on myself.

it was like eternity was looping inward and outward. as i started to wake up i remember thinking how fast these cells multiply and die out. i started to realize that everything is happening soooo fast. for some reason this dream really freaked me out.

then i saw this website...news.yahoo.com/s/space/20...ttedinspace

it's a DNA strand in the universe! or, it looks like one. you tell me.....

peace

i'm crazy enough to believe it.....i mean....at this frequency......how can i put it.

say everything we see is pixelated. we have cones and rods that are (this) big and (this) long and can only take in light at that perspective.between each blood vessel and cone, and synaps.....anyways....we are really only seeing a small portion of what is actually there.

but if we took thousands of really big cameras and spread them out in a big square, light years across, and put the images together, we might have a very different picture. maybe some other time/space frequency where the intelligent life sits comfortably. they might look up from their computer desk and see a vague flash in the air next to them where they see the cameras spread out before them. of coarse, we will die and be reborn ten million times before we could see his expression.

imagine a micro micro micro nano nano robot that could crawl across an atom and send very detailed color photos of the surface....and we see creatures running for their life and tiny fires blazing over the populated surface. that would be so funny....i mean terrible.

the image on this page "shows a computer simulation of a large volume of the Universe." at this scale, galaxy clusters appear to be strung together, as if they are physically connected. if you zoomed out a bit more, these 'strings' might look even more solid, creating a porous, honeycomb-like structure. similar to the increasingly illusive nature of 'solid matter' as you zoom in towards atomic and subatomic particles.

the fractal patterns in this image reminds me so many others... densely populated areas at night, visualizations of neural tissue, etc

if we were small enough to stand on the curve of a subatomic photon particle, it would look like gazing into outerspace. our super tiny eyeballs can only see so far.

maybe our actions are a combined frequency that signal the overall frequency. i read that subatomic particles wobble between matter and anti-matter thousands of times per second. it gives it a vibration that has an overall state. i wonder if time travel is more like shrinking in the deminsional space scale than sliding across it.

            it's smokey in here....

Let me put this thought into play. If you believe we are living in eternity... the infinite... the void... with no bounderies or edges (as I believe), then how can we really measure anything. Who can really say that a planet is large and that an atom is small.
I understand this is in relation to our (human) physical body. Do time and space really exist, or do they just exist because Im human and I can precieve time and space? Are we going to reach a point in physics where we realize that it is in vain to measure anything?

i think as long as we exist on this scale....measurment is going to be there. we have to eat so many times and sleep so long....but we might realize that our actions have very very very little effect on the scale of eternity. we might find ourselves to be quite insignifigant comparitively. however, our individual salvation is still in question, since we hope to survive death....at least some of us do.

if there were galaxies upon galaxies living in the quatum threadwork of our DNA, i would hope that they would not destroy themselves one photon at a time.

I love watching time lapse video, because everything dances. Things that seem so still, vibrate with life. Will we survive death? Well lets just change our perception on what death means. Some people believe it is the end of the soul. Others believe it is just a transition into another dimension. Wherever death takes me, I look forward to it. Let me say that Im very happy being alive... I just dont fear death. It will be an amazing journey.

i think it's been proven that our "self", and our bodies are connected. we're tied together pretty completely. a woman died in the hospitol. she was by all means that we know of pronounced dead. no brain waves. her temp. was dropped and her blood was completely drained. targeting her brain which was bleeding. they fused the empty blood vessels and filled her back up with blood. her temp. was risen and she was recesitated. when she regained consciousness she was the same woman! dead body......soul less? how much of our personality....our drives.....our self....is of the soul? we have synapses in our brain that determin our reaction, our perception, our likes and dislikes, opiates that control our cravings, proteins that make us subjective to criticism, hate, immorality......if we do have a soul, it seems that it is pretty disconnected. we are biological remote controlled robots. with cameras for eyes. what am i talking about? man i'm nutz. i believe in the soul. got dibs on the afterlife.

well this human form Im in now, will last at best, around 100 years. If you want to measure time.
However, in infinity this really doesnt matter. Everything has already happened in the eternal now. As a human being, trying to understand the concept of infinity tends to make us a bit mad. Maybe after this test in the human realm, we will "die" then reach a higher dimension. Questions that plauge us now, may become silly childlike questions that we dont put much thought into.
I feel like I have gained so much wisdom and insight through meditation and other altered states of consciousness. Many of us, have felt that blissful state of the infinite... bonding with every particle and void in the universe. It is very intense and overwhelming to recieve these glimpses of "God" or whatever you choose to call it. How can you put a name on it really?

i don't really know a whole lot about it....but i think i astro traveled once. i had this visual in meditation that i was travelilng down a street like it were a river. everything flowing past me. i came up to the house i was staying (my cousin's in dallas) and up to the second story window. i floated up to her and her eyes opened wide. and she said "MICAH?!!! is that you???" i was down stares.....daydreaming, i thought.....until i heard her speak. i opened my eyes and freaked out. she said she saw me come up to her in a flash in her head. freakin freaked me the freak out.

after that happened a few years ago i had to consider that we are not bound to our own bodies. but perhaps our bodies are only a small representation of who we really are. our soul could reach much farther. like our energy extends to a certain radius, and you can feel when someone steps into your circle......

what bothers me about the who eternity thing....is that the possibility of what is actually to come....is....umm....eternal. it leaves me with very little hope about feeling certain that any thing is more likely than another.....at this point i'm not ready to put my cards on the table for any faith or false hope. i'll keep being a good person and trying to project good vibes though.....any thoughts on salvation?

                          Wonderful story micah
I think that qualifies as an OBE or astral travel. There are so many things people brush off as strange or weird. Like what is mentioned above. As well as dreams, deja vu, psychic abilities. Many people do not believe in such things, as is there right. However, many people have believed in the power of such things... way before modern religions came to be. Nature worship, the Craft, mystics abound from many cultures throughout human history have told similar stories of other worlds/dimensions. Theories on death are just as infinite as the mysteries to life. I think one key is to not take it all so seriously. There is no end or beginning. In my opinion, and I cant really claim to be right. but it feels right to me.
                          Meditation has really helped me.
Maybe there is an end to it all. Aborigine's believe time is cyclical, everything repeating on different "time" scales. What will happen, will happen again at some point.

Im trying to remember a quote from someone.... the name and exact quote escape me, but it went something like this: If you could look through the most powerful telescope and microscope which would have the grander view?

Oh yeah, I wanted to mention something about the material world. It is now thought that the Universe is mostly empty space. Over 90% of our Universe is void/dark matter... stuff that cant be seen. Maybe we dont have the abilities to see what this stuff is. Maybe it is just void no-thing-ness, but it is still something. Technology has not advanced enough to study it, or perhaps it is just conscious energy waiting to be manifested in this infinite dance in reality. I mentioned fractals in my first post on this thread. Although I dont know anything about the math behind them, the beauty of what is produced by this math is amazing. Chaos and order seem to be the same thing. The dualistic way that most humans think is crushed when you speak of fractals or infinity.

Anyway, my coffee rush is making me ramble. So be it.

no, i love it! ramble! ramble! good ideas come from chaos.
that article said that photons bounce back and forth between matter and anti matter at a frequency that gives it a solid state. like when you look at a digital clock behind a desk fan. the frequency of the fan distorts the frequency of the light from the clock. making the fan appear to move slowly over the numbers on the clock.

but the space between the blades isn't empty. it's filled with the blades as it cycles per second. we are seeing space at this frequency. our light source (the clock) resonates at this frequency. our brains will only allow us to calculate images at a certain frequency as well. i suppose there is more than meets the eye.
